As this was sort of a slow paced relaxing sort of day, we opted for a no-cooking easy dinner. I had to stop by the supermarket to pick up a prescription, so I grabbed a bunch of sandwich stuff from the deli, some sub rolls and 2 bags of chips. Not anything like our usual dinner fare, but easy.
So Ted and Ray are sitting at the kitchen table eating their sub sandwiches, staring at the two giant bags of chips. On each bag is a blaze orange sticker that says:
TRY ME! 2 FOR $5.00
Ted says "Why do the chips say 'Try Me' on them?" I reply "It is like an advertisement, they are telling you to buy the chips and try them to see how good they are."
Apparently satisfied with that answer, Ted nods and says nothing. Then a few minutes later, he adds:
"Well, underneath 'try me', in little letters, it should say "Please."
