Note to self...
And to anyone else who reads this:

The next time you get new tips for your acetylene torch in the mail, try to make sure that you are not standing under the heat detector for the fire alarm when you test the largest one. Both the torch tip and the heat detector seem to work great.

Update before Year's End
Hi Holly! I posted this so my blog would be updated just for you! Here's my 1/4 Greek granddaughter, Amelia, grooving to the bazouki!

Amelia was wearing a strange contraption; one of Tessa's t-shirts with an elastic band tying it together in the back.....fashion maven of the family.

You can see by this picture what I'm talking about:

Another recent glimpse into our strange world is probably the last time I'll have my remaining four children who are still living at home, together with me at the pediatrician's office. They were waiting for their flu shots, and Charlie was a bit peeved at having to sit in front of the "Mr. Bunny goes on a Train" wall mural and wait with his siblings. Last year he got his shot at the U Mass medical clinic. I think this picture is a riot:

Lastly, I'll post a picture I thought was cool. This is Ray and Teddy crossing a bridge here in Lowell. Ted was scared to death of the height. I was scared to death of the bum that was heading in our direction crossing from the other side of the bridge and being trapped in the cage with him....anyhow, we made it out safely.
