MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

The title says it all. In the spirit of the day, here is a (bad) picture of our tree:  If you are wondering what that orange thing in the middle of the tree is, it is Chaz's gift from Markie, the "Bowhunter Dan, American Sportsman" doll that you have heard so much about, it being the hot toy of this Christmas season. Dan is the coolest. He has his Mossy-Oak camo, Scent-Block hat, bow, rattlin' antlers, snake boots, orange safety vest and a tiny tree stand complete with safety harness. Those reindeer don't stand a chance.I have no idea how Mark managed to put his hands on such an in-demand item at the height of the shopping season, but somehow he did. Amazing! |

So, this time tomorrow, I'll be sitting in LGA airport, en route to Manchester. That being said, Tuesday, the youth pastor at the church I work at showed me this video. It made me laugh, because I always give Cass a hard time about this Bible she has that weighs 8,000 pounds I always seem to end up with when we go to church. I'm bringing the one she gave me for my birthday this time, so I don't have to repeat "lift with the knees, not with the back" to myself everytime I get up. Edit: And doing further research on the guy, I found this. Heh. |

Just in time for the holidays!!!!

 Well, he's back! I know that you all have been writing and calling to ask how he was doing, and I am happy to report that the Boar is back in his place of honor in the library. And he is feeling better and looking GOOD! After much painstaking work and some expert guidance from Markie, Boar has been restored to his former glory. Ain't he cute?! Just look at that twinkle in his eye! We can all hope that we look this good for the upcomming holidays. |
