Security threat!!!!

Well, the other day on Drudge Report, there was a link to a news story about the NY Police SCUBA team. They were assigned to provide security for the pope while he was visiting NY city, when they intercepted a potential threat. Lucky for the pope, they spotted, chased down and apprehended a beaver swimming in the East river, near the UN were the pope was giving a speech. This is all pretty suspicious. It is possible that the beaver may be linked to terrorist groups trying to attack the pope. Firstly beavers are fresh water animals, this was a salt water environment. Second, this beaver was observed to be armed with sharp claws, big pointy teeth, and have a curious flat leathery object trailing behind him in the water, that officials fear may be a bomb. Major news outlets reported that the beaver was taken to an "animal hospital." However sources that requested anonymity indicated that he was taken to a secret CIA facility for interrogation, though the beaver was refusing to talk. Our sources indicated that even the much feared "waterboarding" technique seemed to have no effect. "We just don't understand it", the source said, "this must be one tough beaver!" |
