Chazapalooza - 2007
It is that time of year again, not Christmas, but Chaz's birthday! Though his birthday actually passed a few days earlier, we scheduled the Chaz_A-Palooza for this past Friday evening. A crowd eventually arrived (we even managed to snag the elusive and suspicious SJ, in town for the holidays) and once they all had their fill of meatball subs, chips and whatnot the entertainment began in earnest. For starters, everyone was enthralled by an amazing display of cup-stacking skill by Teds. Markie doesn't look so excited but I assure you, he is. After Ted got finished with that amazing display of skill everyone got into the act by flinging his cups all over the room. Ted, who somehow always manages to be the center of attention, ended up being passed around the room, hot-potato style. It took a while for all of that commotion to die down, but finally it was time to trot out the famous Mrs A. "Cake-Shaped-Brownie" birthday cake thing. The crowd went wild, spontaneously combusting into a loud chorus of the Happy-birthday-to-you song, followed by the traditional blowing out of the candle by Chaz. The eclairs, danish, brownie-cake, ice cream and cool-whip flowed freely, and Chaz began opening gifts. He was captivated by the wonder of this ultra-cool snap bracelet. It seems that no matter what the occasion, if Chaz is around, I seem to end up with at least one picture like this. Another notable event was a visit by a true celebrity, PAC MAN!! Though he has been out of the public spotlight for a while now, it was great to see him there, though later in the evening he started making threatening moves towards some of the guests. As the party carried on though, he mellowed and changed somehow, and Sven (in the background) declared him to be "adequate". All-in-all it was a great time!

Happy Birthday CHAZ!!!
