Well, that post about "Bob" seems to have struck a chord. Or a nerve. I suppose that we all have a certain number of Bobs that we encounter in that course of our day-to-day lives. I was going to respond to some of the comments, but they came in so fast and furious that I thought I would just post my replies here, in the order they were received:
Cassie - Not much point in telling him something like that, he won't listen. And you're right, I DO have a totally awesome daughter, two in fact, as well as 4 awesome sons. I'm not jealous of anyone, for anything.
Heidi - Correct as always, Queen Heidi...
Mrs A. & Mrs C. - That "Bison" comment was nothing but a thinly disguised re-make of the much dreaded and feared "Does this dress make me look fat?" question. It is the loaded question to end all loaded questions. One of the first (and most important) lessons they teach you in Boyschool is that you NEVER, EVER reply to such dangerous bait. I plead the Fifth.
JH from P, PB and Chrisitne - Like I said, we all seem to have a Bob in our lives. Or perhaps 10. And I hate to be the one to tell you Christine, but You have been hanging by a thread for a long, long time. It's a big part of your charm. :)
Tricia - I'm pretty sure that after very few minutes around this guy, you would be punching his head for your own sake, as well as mine. Bob had better watch out, I imagine you throw a mean punch...
And as a general point of interest, I took a few minutes to look up that supermodel Giselle that he was all gaga about. Now I guess I had heard the name, but would not have recognized her. Anyhow, while I think that in spite of the goofy clothes she is kind of cute, especially the big dark eyes, but I'm not sure that she is something to get all jealous over.
