long overdue update...
The commotion and general re-establishing of our "normal" routine, if there is such a thing, has seemed to keep us all from posting much here. So I thought I owed it to our public to post a few quick and fascinating snippets from the past few weeks.

Drewie completed his final concert performance with the NYSO. He is now offically "Too Old" to play with that orchestra any more. Ohhhhh. At the end of the concert, the conductor was handed the traditional bunch-O-flowers. As the audience applauded, he proceeded to pull a couple of the flowers out of the bunch, hand one to the girl who was Concert Mistress, skip over Andrew, then hand another to the girl who was playing violin on the other side of Andrew. In characteristic 'Drewie style, Andrew held out his hands, shook his head and made a most obvious "WHAT ABOUT ME!" face to the conductor and the audience. The enitre orchestra and audience burst out laughing, and the conductor turned, pulled out another flower, and handed it to him. The crowed went wild. Andrew reveled in the moment. At the after concert, there was the traditional snack-and-chat time that generallly follows such things. I caught this amazing photo of 'Drewie and Spmarg. Note that they sitting in almost the exact same position, but are near exact opposites. It is as if they are negatives of eachother. Black suit vs. white suit, dark hair vs. light hair, black shirt vs. white shirt. It may have been some sort of wierd physics optical inversion in the fabric of space-time. Creepy.

Here I caught Chaz tagging a guardrail. Sad to see them go bad so young. You can take the kid out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the kid.

Lastly, photographic evidance that at the end of the rainbow, there is no pot of gold, but you will find my truck. Almost as good.
