Another A. family moment...
So Chaz, Mrs A. and I were getting ready to run out to the store to pick up some stuff. As we are about to go, Mrs. A notices that someone has tracked mud from their shoes into the back room. Big problem. "Who has mud in their shoes?!?!, I just vacuumed this today!" She zips about the house checking first my shoes, then Chaz, and finding none of the dreaded mud, then noticed that Ray was still wearing his boots from earlier in the day. She corners Ray in the back room and as he cowered in the corner, said to him (firmly!) "Ray, stand there and stamp the rest of the mud out of your shoes!" Ray, who is timid to begin with, stands there for a second, doing nothing. Mrs.A repeats "Stamp the mud out of your shoes. Stamp your feet, like this!" and proceeds to vigorously stomp her feet up and down on the tile floor to demonstrate the method. As she does so, a pile of mud shakes out of the treads on HER shoes. In seconds, Chaz, Ray and Tessa all burst out in a chorus of "OOOOOOOH! Whose shoes have mud in them, hmmmmm?" and start laughing. ZING!

For the rest of the day, Ray kept walking up to her and saying "HA! your shoes had the mud in them....AH HA HA HA...!"
