While Mrs. A and I were away, and our home was being assulted by KIDS , we saw something that brought to mind Cassies tail of the "special needs duck" from her blog a while back. We actually saw a small flock of severly handicapped ducks, if you can call four ducks a "flock." I am afraid that this may have been one of those segragated communities of duck outcasts, exiled from larger duck society due to their being "different." How sad. I managed, through the use of a long lens and good camoflage, to discreetly snap a single photo without being detected and thus causing these poor fowl to feel self-concious or embarrassed. Observe:

Look at that! Two one-leg ducks and two no-leg ducks, hiding their little duck faces in shame. I get all teary-eyed every time I look at this photo.
