Cassie sent this link to me this morning. It struck me funny both because it is inherently funny, and because I am often the "Tech support guy." I've had a few customers like this...

AIG, and other mass email nonsense...
Interesting that Mrs. A mentioned the whole AIG bailout thing. I recently got this nonsense concerning that recently. I'm sure most of you have at least one person in your email circle-of-friends who makes it a point to forward to you every single clever or witty email they get. I presume they do so on the assumption that they "discovered" it, in spite of the fact that they got it as part of a forward list of a hundred other people. I sometimes like to debunk them, particularly the one I have received from time to time for 10+ years telling me that Mr. Rogers saved Captain Kangeroo and Lee Marvin's lives when they were all army rangers at Anzio. Right.
I got one today (third time for me) from one of my worst offenders, with a clever alternate analysis of the bailout of AIG by the US government. I won't quote the whole thing, but it says that instead of giving AIG 85 Billion dollars, we should divide that money up evenly amongst the 200 or so million adult US citizens. That way each adult will get $425,000 to spend and pay taxes on, and thus stimulate the economy to new heights. It gives a lengthily analysis (with lots of exclamation points and smiley faces) of how well this would work, blah, blah, blah. It ends by encouraging me to forward this to as many people as possible to "get the word out." Ummm, only one problem. 85 billion divided by 200 million is actually 425 bucks. That won't fill may gas tank too many times these days.

Am I Missing Something Here?
"We the People" bail out AIG with $85 BILLION DOLLARS and this is how it's getting spent. SICK! All of us watching our 401Ks dwindling away should be outraged! I need a vacation!

Great job!
When I first saw that creepy "obama singing kids" video, this is the first thing I thought of. Andrew posted this elsewhere, I'm glad someone made this version, it is far more accurate. No kidding folks, the goal is uncomfortably close:
